It was announced in the national papers this week that Eoin Murphy is to retire before the end of the year. In a candid interview with the business editor of one national paper Mr Murphy was critical of the management team and the chosen direction of the company; he cited poor interim results from Cothu Construction and development.
 
The initial market reaction to this was an immediate 7% dip in the share price which recovered back to 4% below its previous value, the remaining offset largely being the result of concerns voiced by analysts as to the stability and cohesion of the leadership team.
